Publishing Your Web or Intranet Site with Microsoft Internet Information Server
The Microsoft Internet Information Server (IIS), version 4.0, is an enterprise-level Web server with all the sophisticated features required for the demanding needs of a modern Web site, including many security options and support for Web commerce sites. IIS is designed to run under Windows NT Server, version 4.0 or later, as an NT service. It currently does not run under any other operating system or platform.
