The REF field places the text associated with a bookmark into your document. With REF, you can copy any text that recurs throughout the document, and when the original changes, all references change, too.

Switch	What It Does
\f	Includes and increments footnote, endnote, or comment numbers.
\h	Inserts a hyperlink to the paragraph marked by the bookmark.
\n	Inserts number of paragraph rather than bookmarked text. No trailing periods or information from higher levels of paragraph numbering are included.
\p	Inserts the relative position ("above" or "below") of the marked paragraph.
\r	Inserts a paragraph number in relative context (for example, plus or minus).
