Removing a Subdocument

Sometimes you want to keep the information contained in a subdocument, but you no longer want to store it in a separate subdocument. Possibly your colleague has finished with it, and you would like to move it back into the master document, so you'll have one less subdocument to manage.

Follow these steps to eliminate the subdocument while moving its contents to the master document. First, click the subdocument icon to select the entire subdocument you want to convert. Next, click the Remove Subdocument button. The subdocument no longer appears in the master document, and all of its text is copied into the master document, ...
