を解決するために、クラウドへのリフトを検討する小規模なスタートアッ
プ企業もあります。例えば、オンプレミスWebサーバーを仮想サーバー
へ移行し、そのフロントにロードバランサーを配置し、自動スケーリング
を有効にしたりするなどです。
リフト移行のメリットとして、「移行が簡単」、「導入コストが最小限で
済む」、「システムの拡張・縮小が容易」などが挙げられます。
より簡単にオンプレミス環境をクラウドへ移行できるように、クラウドベ
ンダーが移行用のサービスを提供しています（図10-18）。AWS Application
Migration Service、Azure Migrate、Google Cloud Migrate for Compute
Engineといったリフト移行サービスがあります。利用クラウドに合わせて
移行サービスを活用すると、クラウドへの移行を迅速に実現できます。
リフト移行は、基本的には従来のシステムをそのまま移行するため、移
