です。Prime Video では、従来は C++ で開発された JavaScript 仮想マシン
を使い、JavaScript でアプリケーションを開発していましたが、性能に限界
がありました。このため多様なデバイスに対応するためJavaScript 仮想マ
シン部分を残したままWasmVMを追加し、アニメーションやレンダラー機
能部分をWasm で実行できるようにしました（図12-7）。
JavaScriptとWasmを組み合わせて対応することで、JavaScript のみ
の場合と比べて高速化を実現（実験環境では10 ～ 25 倍の処理性能）し、
JavaScript用のメモリを 30MB節約できます。Wasmモジュールのバイナ
リサイズは圧縮時150KBとモジュールのサイズが非常に小さく、Wasmを
追加してもアプリケーションの起動時間に影響はありません。
CDN（Contents Delivery Network）は、Webサイトの情報を効率的に配
信するしくみです。オリジナルのコンテンツを世界各地に設置されたCDN
にキャッシュしておくことで、利用者が毎回オリジナルのサーバーにアク
