Chapter 11. Window

Word’s new Single Document Interface makes it easy to switch between open documents by clicking the document buttons on the Windows taskbar. Word also offers another convenient way to switch between documents: the Window menu. The Window menu offers users the advantage of quickly switching between documents using the keyboard, something more difficult to do with taskbar buttons.

In addition, the Window menu offers three commands for viewing multiple instances of a single document and arranging documents that are already open: New Window, Arrange All, and Split.
