It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Synopsis
A list of currently open Word documents follows the Window → Split command. Select any of these documents (or type the number of the document on the keyboard) to switch to that document.
Word displays only nine documents on the Window menu at any time, and these are arranged in alphabetical order. If more than nine documents are open, the More Windows command is added to the Window menu to manage the extra documents.
