Edit → Paste as Hyperlink
Synopsis
Create a hyperlink in Word to any file, to a web resource, or even to part of another Office document. The hyperlink appears in the Word document the same as it would on a web page—blue and underlined. Clicking it opens the target item.
Paste as Hyperlink really only works when copying information between or within Office applications. For example, select a phrase in one Word (or Excel, PowerPoint, or Access) document, copy it, then paste it as a hyperlink into a Word document. Clicking the resulting link opens the target document and jumps to the target selection. Hyperlinks can also link to other locations in the same Word document. For more on using hyperlinks in Word, see Chapter 7.
