Tools → Track Changes
Synopsis
The Track Changes feature helps track revisions made when multiple people edit a single document. Without Track Changes, it can be difficult to see who made changes and when they were made. Moreover, it can be difficult for one person to take charge of finishing the document and choose which changes to keep and which ones to delete without making many tedious visual comparisons between the original and the edited version.
The commands found in the Track Changes submenu toggle Track Changes on and off, accept or reject changes, and provide tools to compare two versions of the same document. The commands, along with other collaboration tools, are discussed in Chapter 13.
