The Jupyter notebook for the test is ./Chapter2_Unit_Tests/PiCamera/Taking_Photos.ipynb. This simple example takes a photo and creates a histogram, that is, a chart showing how many colors and the amount of each color that is present in the image.

So, let's take an image with few colors to make it easier to understand the information from the histogram. The following photo, taken with the GoPiGo3 , has the characteristics we need:

1. First, we take the photo. Then we convert it to a JPG image format and save it, and, finally, we show the result on the screen:
