Driving around
The files in this sub-section are in the ./Chapter2_Unit_Tests/drivingAround folder of the repository. You can upload them one by one. Afterward, launch a shell session in JupyterLab by opening a launcher tab:
- Select the Terminal icon from the tab, as shown in the following screenshot:
- Execute the scripts from the terminal by changing to their location:
$ cd./Chapter2_Unit_Tests/drivingAround$ python <name_of_script.py>
The first script is 1-easyMotors.py, and it plays a very simple sequence:
- Move the motors forward for 1 second.
- Stop the motors for 1 second.
- Drive the robot for 50 cm and then stop.
