I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Distance sensor unit test
Although you have connected the distance sensor to the I2C-1 port, be aware that GoPiGo3 software libraries will not require you to specify in the script which of the two ports you are using. It will be automatically detected.
The files for testing are located in the ./Chapter2_Unit_Tests/DI-distance folder of the repository. You can upload them one by one to DexterOS:
- di-distance_cm.py
- di-distance-easygopigo_mm.py
Afterward, open a shell session in JupyterLab by opening a launcher window and selecting the terminal icon from it. Execute the scripts from the terminal by moving to their location:
$ cd./Chapter2_Unit_Tests/DI-distance$ python <script.py>
