Checking your progress with the logger

As you may have observed, the log output is huge and runs at a very high speed. ROS provides another rqt_tool to easily follow the log of the session. To access it, launch it from a Terminal:

$ rqt_console

This should display a window that is similar to the following screenshot:

In the two boxes below the message feed, you can exclude or include messages based on your own criteria. If you want to change the log level of the node, run the rqt_logger_level utility:

$ rosrun rqt_logger_level rqt_logger_level
