Logs

The logs directory, log level, and log retention properties can all be changed in the REST Admin under logs | settings |edit. Another parameter, Usage metering, can also be enabled here. When enabled, the usage metering logs the INFO level usage parameters, such as the number of bytes returned from a call and the type of task that was utilized (find, identify, export, and more), and this information can be used along with a username from the logs to track usage.
