Properties

Properties are a container for some of the more intricate properties and are typically empty by default. One property that can be set here is to change the geoprocessing service and service extension publishing privileges. Starting at ArcGIS Server 10.4, only administrators can publish geoprocessing services and deploy server object extensions (SOEs) and server object interceptors (SOIs). In the System Properties of the REST Admin, this property can be changed so users with publisher privileges can publish these resources as well. To change this setting, do the following:

1. From the REST Admin, go to system | properties | update.
2. Enter the property in the following format:

      {"allowGPAndExtensionPublishingToPublishers": true}
