I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Backup and restore of an ArcGIS Server site
Just as you back up your enterprise geodatabase (you do have backups scheduled, don't you?), you should routinely back up your ArcGIS Server site configuration so that it could be restored in the event of catastrophic hardware failure, corruption, or even something as innocent as human error.
Tucked away in your ArcGIS Server installation directory (D:\Program Files\ArcGIS\Server\tools\admin, in my case) are the ArcGIS Server command-line utilities, a set of scriptable Python utilities that can perform some very handy administrative tasks, two of which are server site backup and restore.
