Working with tokens

As an ArcGIS Server administrator, it is your responsibility to maintain and guard access to your ArcGIS Server site and its credentials. However, you will find that others in your organization will eventually need administrative access to your server to perform maintenance tasks. For example, you may have a developer writing custom scripts that need administrative access to ArcGIS Server. To avoid providing them with administrative credentials, you could instead generate a long-lived token that they could use in their script to authenticate to ArcGIS Server.
