Changing token settings

That said, before you start giving out tokens, you're probably going to need to make some token configuration changes, seeing that the default long-lived lifespan is only one day. You want the token you provide to last for more than a day, but, at the same time, you don't want it to last for five years either. The shorter the life of a token, the more secure it is. The shorter the lifespan of the token, the more often an administrator has to reissue it.

Token settings can be changed in two ways:
