Generating a token

Tokens are generated within the REST Admin at http://server:port/arcgis/admin/generateToken, or, if your Web Adaptor has administrative access, use the FQDN, such as https://www.masteringageadmin.com/arcgis/admin/generateToken. To generate a token, you will need administrative credentials, possibly the IP address of the target user of the token or a referrer URL, and an idea of how long you want the token to live for. The following screenshot shows the Generate Token interface:
