Publishing a feature service to ArcGIS Server

Publishing a feature service is very similar to publishing a map service, with the added step of enabling feature access in the service. To publish a feature service, do the following:

1. Follow the earlier 1-4 steps to publish a map service.
2. In the Service Editor | Capabilities tab, select the Feature Access checkbox. See the next section for more information on feature service operations and properties.
3. Follow the earlier 6-7 steps mentioned earlier in the Publishing a map service to ArcGIS Server section.
