Data user accounts

The final level of database accounts is the user level. User level consists of viewers and editors in the geodatabase, where viewers have only SELECT privileges and editors can have SELECT privileges along with any combination of UPDATE, INSERT, or DELETE privileges. These accounts are indeed the users of the database--those creating and updating features and those utilizing your data for viewing and analysis. User accounts can be created using the Create Database User tool with a sysadmin connection, as was done by the data owner, or by a database administrator utilizing SQL Server tools.
