- Once installation or an upgrade has successfully completed, logging for the Portal is set to Warning by default. Now, logs can be accessed from Portal Admin (refer to the next section, Working with Portal logs). Depending on the level of logging configured for Portal, there are a multitude of events that can be recorded in the logs, such as the following.
- Publishing events such as publishing web maps, applications, and hosted services
- Security events such as updating the HTTP/HTTPS protocol settings, updating of the portal's identity store, and users logging in to Portal
- Organizational management events such as the creation of groups, group user management, and the configuration of Portal items such as basemaps, gallery, ...
