Restore

Once you have backed up your ArcGIS Enterprise deployment, you can use the backup file and webgisdr to restore it. When restoring, note the following:

• Any items or services created since the last backup export (full or incremental) will be lost
• Anything not backed up by the utility will not be restored, for example, file geodatabases
• If restoring to a new machine, installation and content directories on the new machine must match those of the old machine

To restore a deployment, follow these steps:
