Working with Portal logs
With Portal, there is no web-based frontend to view logs like is available in ArcGIS Server; all log querying and display is done from Portal Admin. To query and view Portal logs, follow these steps:
- Open Portal Admin (https://<webadaptor>/portal/portaladmin) and log in as an Administrator.
- Go to Logs | Query.
- Leave all default settings and click on Query. You will be presented with a list of warning and severe messages:
Portal for ArcGIS log levels are very similar to those for ArcGIS Server, as is illustrated in the following table:
