Another important account is the data owner; this account owns the schema and therefore the data, sets privileges, performs maintenance tasks, and probably most importantly, loads data into the geodatabase. For the data owner account, it is best to create a headless user account, an account that is not assigned to any person. If necessary, these credentials can be shared among those individuals trusted to create data in the geodatabase. If one staff member is unavailable, another has the necessary credentials to perform data maintenance.
