Office 2003 integrates exceptionally well with SharePoint servers. Depending on how the
SharePoint administrator has configured the network, you can access SharePoint document
libraries directly from Office common dialog boxes. Storing an Office document on a
SharePoint server also allows Office 2003 users to take advantage of a number of collabora-
tive functions. Use the My Network Places folder from an Office Open or Save As dialog
box to work directly with a SharePoint shared folder.

SharePoint,” p. 211.
