To create a new subsite, click Documents and Lists on the main menu bar, click Sites (under
See Also in the left column), and click Create on the Sites and Workspaces page. SharePoint
provides a variety of templates for sites. The basic Team Site is identical to the default
SharePoint site; choose Blank Site if you want to build pages on the subsite from scratch.
