Taking Notes During a Slide Show
In previous versions of PowerPoint, all annotations disappeared as soon as you left the slide,
and the drawings could not be retrieved under any circumstances. In PowerPoint 2003, the
“ink” used for annotations is persistent. Any mark-ups you make on a specific slide are visi-
ble when you return to the slide. When you exit the slide show, PowerPoint gives you the
opportunity to save your annotations. This option comes in handy if you scribble notes to
yourself during the course of the presentation and want to act on those notes after you
return to the office.
