Using AutoCorrect to Automate Documents
To add an unformatted AutoCorrect entry, choose Tools, AutoCorrect Options, and type the
entry name in the Replace box and the replacement text in the With box. Click Add.

CAUTION
When Word searches for AutoCorrect entries, it looks for formatted entries first. Building
on the previous example, if you create a formatted entry for
cr in Word and then create
an unformatted (plain text) entry for
cr in another program, typing cr in Word will
bring up the formatted entry, but typing
