It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

の基本を、オブジェクト指向機能を含めてよく知っている
けれども、
pandas, NumPy, SciPy
については知らないと仮定しています。これらの
モジュールについて詳しいなら、関係する節は飛ばしてもかまいません。
数学の基本も、例えば対数や総和はわかっていると仮定しています。代数や微積分
の概念を何箇所かで使っていますが、実際にそういう数学に取り組む必要はありません。
これまでに統計の勉強をしたことがないなら、本書は良い入門書になります。従来
の伝統的な統計の授業を受けたことがあるなら、本書がダメージ回復の手助けになる
と思います。
