I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Defining storyboards
Storyboards are like comic strips: they visually present a story, scene by scene, with notes for what is happening in each scene. They were first used in the film industry to visualize and plan the scenes of a movie before filming took place. In web design, a storyboard is an ordered, visual representation of a user's experience while using a website, or part of a website. Storyboards are a good tool for persuading your stakeholders to focus on their user's needs, for several reasons:
- Story: Storyboards tell a story. When people are told things through a story, they remember them better. Stories also inspire empathy and capture attention through curiosity.
