Describing UX research methods

In this section, we will briefly describe common UX methods as they would be applied in a website development project. They are listed here alphabetically. We include methods that require testing with users and methods that rely on the UX practitioner's expertise. These expert methods should ideally be carried out by at least three to four experts to check for consistency of findings. The following table shows these methods organized by FOCUS, and shows the typical context of use. Some methods are repeated in different areas of focus because they apply equally in both.
