The traditional method of reporting usability test results is the usability test report. This should have the following content:
- A description of the test and participants: This includes the test objectives, what was tested, details of participants, and recruitment criteria.
- Key findings of the test: This is an executive summary for those who do not want to read the rest of the document, stating what the key findings were.
- Detailed findings: This is the bulk of the document. It is generally organized by task or web pages and components. For each part, evidence from the usability test is presented. The findings are presented with quotes, links to video segments, annotated screenshots and other images, ...
