If you have done all of the preparation described in this chapter, conducting the study itself should be fairly straightforward. The reason for the preparation is to make the study run as smoothly as possible, so you can focus on interacting with participants and gaining valid and reliable results.
As the preceding sections indicate, a lot of preparation goes into a research study. However, if you have created checklists and checked them off as you prepare, and conducted a pilot test, you can be reasonably sure that you are ready.
