I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Case study 2 - blue lighting in railway stations in Japan
The second case study also focuses on blue lighting, but in a different context. Japan has the highest suicide rate in the world, and it can be blamed on stressful urban living. There are several preferred suicidal spots, but railway stations are at the top of the list. The authorities are constantly busy looking at ways to reduce the number of suicides. In Katsushika, Tokyo, the Shin-Koiwa train station is infamously known as a suicide hotspot. The following changes have been installed at the station based on the following assumption:
- Blue plastic panels have been installed on the roof to give blue lighting.
