We will not describe data analysis in much detail here, as it varies considerably depending on the study:
- A web analytics study or A/B test will provide many numbers that you will enter into specific statistical tests, depending on what you want to find out. For example, a comparison of average task times and success rates between two groups who experienced different designs; or an idea of whether significantly more people are visiting certain areas of your site after a design change.
