So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Best practices for creating interactive prototypes
Here are some best practices for prototyping interactions:
- Transitions: If a tool allows you to design transitions, such as fading or easing in and out, these can make your interactions look much more professional and real, which increase your interaction fidelity.
- Reduce complexity: Interactions can rapidly become very complex when using a prototyping tool like Axure. Therefore, carefully consider the interactions that you are adding to your prototype and whether you really need them. Ideally, create simple connections linking your wireframes and increase the fidelity for a few important interactions. Attempting to create high interaction fidelity for an entire website could become unmanageable. ...
