It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

アプリケーションが利用するメッセージデータはプロパティファイル
やデータベースのテーブルなどに外部リソース化することが多いです
が、メッセージを識別するコード体系やメッセージの文言に関するルー
ルはメッセージ規約としてまとめます。
テーブルやビューなどのデータベースオブジェクトに関する命名ルー
ルや、共通カラムの定義、サロゲートキーや複合キーの利用方針などは
データベース設計規約としてまとめます。
手順書
手順書は、実装アクティビティの中で繰り返し発生する作業の手順を
ドキュメントにまとめて共有し、開発者やチームの作業を効率化するこ
とを目的とします。
必ず準備すべきなのは開発環境構築手順書です。開発者がローカルマ
シンで開発作業を行うためには、プログラミング言語のランタイムや統
合開発環境（IDE）、データベースサーバーなどのミドルウェアをイン
ストールし、さらに適切な環境設定を行う必要があります。一連のセッ
トアップの流れをスクリーンショット付きで説明する資料を用意しま
しょう。
その他、開発に利用するツール類があれば必要に応じてツールの利用
手順書を用意するとよいでしょう。特に、プロジェクトで独自に開発し
たツールがある場合はその利用手順書も作成します。
