FetchXML reporting

Dynamics 365 CE Online only supports FetchXML reports that use the FetchXML query to get data from Dynamics 365 CE. We can write a FetchXML query manually, or we can use Advanced Find and XrmToolBox to design queries. All reports generated using the Dynamics 365 CE Report Wizard are FetchXML reports. We can also develop a FetchXML report using Visual Studio's SQL Server Data Tools after installing the Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2016 Report Authoring Extension.
