Security roles
The security of Dynamics 365 CE entities and their data is implemented using security roles. These are a group of permissions that define which operations a Dynamics 365 CE user can perform on an entity. Dynamics 365 CE contains many out-of-the-box security roles that can be modified based on customer requirements.
In this section, we provide details about the security roles that will be used for the customer. We will be discussing more on security roles in Chapter 6, Customizing Dynamics 365 CE.
For HIMBAP Auto Service Center, we are going to use the following out-of-the-box security roles:
