This is another very important technique and is the most common for requirement gathering nowadays. In this technique, a proof of concept is built based on the initial requirement gathering. This prototype includes basic functionalities of the final proposed solution, and it is normally built to provide a sense of the actual system. Prototyping is built by following the iterative process, where every iteration enhances the prototype based on the customer feedback until it reaches the final stage.
