System entities

System entities are the entities that we get with a Dynamics 365 CE setup. Most of the system entities, such as lead, account, contact, opportunity, quotes, and orders can be customized easily. For example, we can change the form design of these entities; we can modify views available in these entities; we can add new fields for these entities. But some of the entities—such as Rule Item, Customer Relationship, and Wall View—are not available for customization.

In the default solution, we can check which of the out-of-the-box entities are customizable, and which of the entities are not customizable, using the Customizable column.
