I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Admin Console Logs
The following log files for the Admin User Interface (UI) are located in %ProgramFiles%\Microsoft Configuration Manager\AdminConsole\AdminUILog on the system running the console:
• ResourceExplorer.log: Records errors, warnings, and information about running the Resource Explorer.
• SmsAdminUI.log: Records Configuration Manager console activity.
Sometimes you might want to see a little more detail in the ConfigMgr console log files. Here’s how to enable debug logging on the ConfigMgr 2012 console:
1. From an administrator command prompt, use Windows Notepad to open the config file for the console, located at %ProgramFiles%\Microsoft Configuration Manager\AdminConsole\bin\Microsoft.ConfigurationManagement.exe.config.
