It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

3.5.4 クラウドソーシングサービス
Amazon Mechanical Turk や CrowdFlower といったクラウドソーシングサービスを使えば、作業量に応じ
た対価を支払うことで小さな作業を行う膨大な数の人を雇うことができる。例えば、データラングリングを
したい場合は、その作業を手伝ってくれる。
これらのクラウドソーシングサービスには、フリーランスの作業者が多数登録されており、彼らを依頼者
に紹介してくれる。こういった作業者は一般にターカーと呼ばれ、図 3 -5 のような応募できる仕事と対価の
リストが示される。依頼者は、一般にターカーの住所や資格についてある程度制限したり、不十分だと思え
ば対価を払わずにターカーの成果の受け取りを拒否できる。しかし、依頼者の成果受容率は公開されている
ので、優れた作業者が悪い依頼者のもとで働くことはまずないだろう。
ターカーたちに与えられる仕事は、一般に現状ではコンピュータでは高い成績を出すことができない単純
な認知作業である。例えば、次のようなものがある。
