定義ファイルを使うのは、Infrastructure as Codeの基礎中の基礎と言うべきプラクティスである。
定義ファイルは、インフラストラクチャ要素とその構成 / 設定方法を指定する。定義ファイルは、それ
らの構成要素のインスタンスをプロビジョニング、構成 /設定するツールの入力として使われる。例 1-1
はデータベースサーバーノードのための定義ファイルの例だ。
インフラストラクチャ要素とは、たとえばサーバーである。サーバーには、ユーザーアカウントの設
