It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

しかし、インフラストラクチャ定義ツールは、サーバーを作るときに、サーバー構成ツールに設定情
報を渡さなければならなくなることが多い。たとえば、インフラストラクチャ定義ツールがサーバーの
ロール（役割）を指定すると、構成ツールはロールが規定するソフトウェアや設定をインストールす
る。インフラストラクチャ定義ツールは、DNS サーバーアドレスなどのネットワーク設定の詳細を渡す
こともある。
例3-5は、新しく作成されたウェブサーバーで Chefを実行する。
run_list
パラメータは、適用す
るChefロールを指定している。Chefは、渡されたロールを使って一定のクックブックセットを実行す
る。
attributes_json
パラメータは、JSON形式で Chef に構成 / 設定パラメータを渡している。こ
の場合、渡しているのは、DNSサーバーのふたつのIPアドレスの配列である。実行されるChefクッ
クブックのひとつは、このパラメータを使ってサーバーの /etc/resolv.confファイルを作る。
