Reasons to move to the cloud

In the early years of cloud computing, enterprises were hesitant to adopt cloud technologies within their IT organization. They had concerns such as losing control over their infrastructure, security, data risks, and reliability.

Since then, enterprises have increasingly relocated their IT workloads to the cloud. Many organizations have already done so or have plans to move their applications to the cloud. Major cloud providers, such as Amazon, Microsoft, and Google, are experiencing explosive growth and the competition between them is intensifying as more applications are deployed to the cloud.

There are a number of reasons that enterprises are moving their applications and data to the cloud.
