I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Being proud of your work
Developing software is fun, rewarding, stressful, and full of challenges. It is not always easy, but it can be very enjoyable. As you strive to be the best software architect that you can be, do not forget to take pride in all of your accomplishments. There are only so many people in the world who get to do what we do: make software. Everyone can affect the world, even if it is only in some small way. One of the ways, and certainly not the only way, that you and I can make a positive difference is through the software that we create.
