Quality attributes and the SDLC

Quality attributes should be considered throughout the software development life cycle (SDLC). The process begins during requirements engineering by ensuring that they are captured completely and correctly. In the previous chapter, we discussed the importance of measurable and testable requirements. This should be stressed further in relation to quality attributes, as some quality attributes can be difficult to measure. Quality attributes must be measurable and testable in order to determine if the software system satisfies the needs of stakeholders.
