Sharing

Sharing is another core value of DevOps. If DevOps is to succeed in your organization, information, tools, data, and the lessons that are learned need to be shared so that the organization can improve as a whole. Any feedback received, whether it is from external or internal sources, is more useful when it is shared with others.

Encountering failures in a software system may be inevitable but we need to be able to learn from those failures and make improvements based on them. Lessons learned should be shared between development and operations so that continuous improvement is possible.
